The title of one of my first post was: size count. But the similarities end there with that post, the words in the language colluquiale size and proportions are quite similar, but the title of this post proportions is understood in mathematical terms. This is a proportion:
A: B = C: D (read A is to B as C is to D).
The official definition could be: the proportion is an equality of relationships between variables, two at a uniform, or between measures of quantities in practice this expression says that what binds A and B is equal to that which binds C D (a type of Mom: Child = hen: chick). Many exercises based on the proportions of these three provide data and the solver must find the 4th (Tennis Player: Racket = X: Ski, Skier, the solution is), and this is the game that I enjoyed doing this morning.
Michael Mukasey is the current Secretary of State for Justice of the Bush government, its functions and its representativeness could easily equate to those of our Minister of Justice. So let's say A and C expression described above are Mukasey and Angelino Alfano. We have therefore already
2 expression data: Mukasey: Alfano = X: Y. We need to know one another because of the unknowns, then a story that happened in 2002 which had as its protagonist our Minister Alfano, and we could replace the Y. In a video of 2002 (later acquired by the public prosecutor of Palermo) Alfano resumed kissing Cross Naples Mafia boss of Palma Montechiaro died shortly afterwards at the wedding of his daughter. Alfano claimed not to know who was the person who was kissing and being invited by the groom.
Apart from the fact that our Minister to go around kissing people you do not know (which might embarrass his relations but also the good name of our country, can you imagine a European Council of Ministers of Justice during which goes Angelino around kissing people, ministers, secretaries, secretaries, assistants, lackeys, ushers, etc..), we now have three things: Mukasey: X = Alfano: Kiss a mafia without knowing it. At this point we find an equivalent to the mathematical term mafia kiss without knowing (mind you he did not know, but the rest of the world who are interested to know the Mafia), a simile would be as follows: Mukasey, for a marriage, is resumed kissing Ayman al-Zawahiri, who deals with terrorism, and U.S. Secretary of State for Justice should do it, knows it is a leading member of Al Qaeda. Mukasey defends himself saying that he did not know who was the person you kissed, then we have the complete expression.
Mukasey: Kissing a terrorist without knowing = Alfano: Kissing a mob without knowing
I think this ratio, although mathematically acceptable and correct, does not include what could be reality. In the U.S., President Bush would nominate Mukasey Secretary of State, in the light of the video? And the U.S. population, even if Bush dared, as he would have reacted? Perhaps like the dog photo?
Minister Alfano, about the anniversary of the Capaci massacre, said today: " On 23 May of '92 I was in Milan. When I learned of the massacre in Capaci on my skin I felt the embarrassment and shame of being Sicilian . I felt anger at some of my people, though aware that it was not what all the people of Sicily. Today I am proud to be Minister of Justice, I am proud to be a minister of justice Sicilian and proud to be able to travel around Italy to tell a new generation of young people who are not afraid of the mafia . "
I, about the kiss of 2002, I declare today to the Minister: " In 2002, the Sicilians, had they known of your affection to a Mafia boss, on their skin would feel embarrassment and shame of having a fellow as you ."
Greetings to all.
